Both packages are $499 up front. The difference is the term and how much help you get.
The two packages differ in the length of the listing and the level of support.
Valid for 6 months. Your home goes on the MLS and syndicates everywhere, but you handle offers and negotiations directly with the buyer’s agent. It does not include realtor assistance with contract review, negotiations or closing. A $500 transaction fee is due at closing.
Valid for 12 months and includes full realtor support: reviewing offers and contracts, advice and assistance with negotiations, home inspection review and repair request guidance, and review of closing documents before you sign. A $2,000 fee is due at closing. In Indiana this is the only package I can offer.
Started on Gold and changed your mind? You can upgrade to Platinum at any point for $200 plus an addendum agreeing to the $2,000 closing fee.

Paying a buyer’s agent commission is always negotiable and is normally settled in the purchase agreement when an offer comes in. Under current NAR rules the MLS no longer displays the commission offered to buyer agents, so keep it in mind when you set your listing price. If you find a buyer with no agent at all, you owe no buyer-agent commission — but you still owe the closing fee set out in your listing contract.
